Brow Code Professional Stain Kit

The Stain Hybrid Brow Dye will create a bold finish on the brows with a long-lasting effect. The colour will last up to 10 days on the skin and 6 weeks on the brow hairs. Featuring 9 rich shades, there is a colour to suit every skin tone.

Directions

Patch Test

Conduct a patch test on an area of the skin before applying stain to the eyebrows to measure any allergic reactions.

Prepare The Brows

Cleanse the eyes and eyebrows before staining to remove makeup, oils, and any buildup on the skin.

Prepare Stain Hybrid Dye

Shake the dye bottle thoroughly before use. Mix in 4 drops of the Brow Dye with 2 drops of Oxidant in the mixing dish until a creamy texture is achieved. Make sure the paste doesn’t get too watery.

Map Eyebrow Shape

Using the mapping thread, outline the eyebrow shape you want to achieve. It’s important to map the right shape to ensure symmetry in both brows.

Apply Stain to Brows

Using the brow tinting brush, apply the Hybrid Dye mixtures to both eyebrows. Start from the head of the brow, working your way outwards to the tail. Make sure all areas in your mapped eyebrow shape are stained.

Pro Tip: The dye will start staining immediately, so make sure you use a cotton tip to clean up any colour that goes outside the edge.

Process The Brows

Leave the stain to process on the eyebrows for 5-12 minutes. Our recommended processing time is 10 minutes for a balanced result, but this will depend on your desired colour intensity.

Pro Tip: If you desire an ombre effect, remove the stain from the head of the brow a few minutes before removing the rest.

Remove Stain from Brows

Before removing the stain completely, make sure the dye is wet by retouching with the tinting brush. Using a dry cotton tip, remove excess dye from the brows wiping from head to tail. For remaining dye, use a moistened cotton pad and wipe across. Stain should be removed in a gentle motion. No scrubbing required.

Brow Aftercare

As the stain oxidises and develops on the skin, the colour will become softer in the following days. Please ensure your clients are following the correct aftercare to achieve optimum results and longevity.

• Don’t wet the brows for 24 hours post-staining. Avoid sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, etc.
• Don’t apply makeup or cleansers around the brows for 24 hours post-staining.
• Don’t scrub or exfoliate around the brows for 24-72 hours post-staining.
• Don’t apply tanning products around the brows for 24-72 hours post-staining.
