Warehouse Manager

Le Beauty is a market leader in the beauty industry, located in Richmond, Victoria 3121.

We are now looking for the next amazing staff member to join our team to lead our busy Warehouse operations. Our ideal candidate has experience in a similar position with a focus on leadership.

About the role

This role is key to the efficient and effective operations of our Richmond warehouse. You will have a comprehensive understanding of and be responsible for all day-to-day warehousing operations and personnel.

The ideal candidate will have great leadership skills, be highly organised, and be confident in providing structure and productivity initiatives to the warehouse operations. Communication will play an important part of this role.

You will likely have had previous work experience in a similar role managing a warehouse, or in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept responsibility for the entire operation of the Warehouse with the day-to-day management of warehouse operations
  • Line manage the Warehouse team delegating tasks as appropriate and appraising results
  • Provide strong leadership and management to all Warehouse employees including recruitment, performance management, coaching, training and development
  • Promote teamwork between Sales, Warehouse and other staff to ensure all are working to a common goal of exceeding customer expectations
  • Execute business directives that support the business strategy 
  • Liaise with internal team members and external delivery partners to ensure efficient movement of stock in and out of the warehouse
  • Working with the Inventory Manager to ensure a streamlined approach to stock management.
  • Ensure procedures are in place to minimise stock loss/damage during receiving, storage and packaging
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment, including planning and implementing layout to ensure efficient utilisation of space
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security for the warehouse

Requirements

  • Must be punctual
  • Hold a high standard of work ethic and efficiency
  • Can show strong leadership and emotional intelligence with the ability to lead a small team
  • Heavy lifting capabilities
  • Be IT savvy with familiarity with warehouse systems/software
  • A strong communicator
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
